1. I am an independent celebrant which means that I am trained to deliver celebration ceremonies and funerals.
I am inclusive and welcome all faiths and beliefs.
2. I am qualified, fully insured and have won awards for my work.
3. My passion for sustainability in my own life was fuelled still further when I realised how much wastage there is in the average wedding and funeral.
I working on becoming even more sustainable and am partnered with sustainable suppliers and venues.
However, sustainable doesn't mean lacking glamour!
4. I love creating ceremonies of all kind which reflect the life and experiences of those involved. Whether it is a funeral or celebration of life which sings of the person you lost, or a wedding or vow renewal which tells your story as you wish it to be told, it is what I love to do. Possibly because I was a teacher, I am creative, flexible, calm and kind - and never mind getting messy!
I have two dogs, love gardening, painting, cooking, meeting friends, quizzing, science fiction, fantasy and reading. My travels include the Trans Siberian Railway and zip-wiring down from the Great Wall of China! These adventures have added to a rich mix of skills and experiences which I draw upon when helping you to find the words.
